I began my practice of general dentistry in Carbondale in 1982 after graduation from Washington University School of Dental Medicine in St Louis, Missouri.  My undergraduate degree is from San Diego State University.  I served as a dental technician and prosthetic technician while I served 4 yrs in the U.S.Navy.

About Dr. Pirmann

I am a member of American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, the Southern Illinois Dental Society as well as a member of the Academy of General Dentistry.  I was honored by induction as a fellow into the International College of Dentists in 2006, and into the American College of Dentists in 2007.  I currently serve on the North East Regional Board of Dental Examiners.  I grade fourth year dental students in the operative portion of their national licensing examinations.  I spent nine years on the Jackson County Board of Health and continue to be active in the Southern Illinois community. I am married to Becky, have a grown son in Alaska and a daughter, son-in-law and two granddaughters in the Little Rock area.
