Alloy "Silver" Fillings – Alloy fillings are one of the most common dental restorative materials in use today. This material has been extensively researched and has been proven safe for use in the dental field. Alloy fillings are very strong and can withstand a significant amount of wear. Alloys are a financially sound investment in your dental health, as you will benefit from their placement for many years to come.

Composite Resin/"White Fillings" – Used to restore a patient's smile to superior esthetics, composite fillings play a significant role in modern dentistry. When placing a composite filling, less tooth structure is removed and may help preserve your natural tooth structure. A resin bonding may also be placed to resolve undesired spacing between teeth. The use of composite restorations plays a vital role in maintaining health as well as esthetics.

Crown and Bridge– If a tooth is significantly damaged or needs added strength, sometimes it is best for a crown or bridge to be fabricated. During the first visit, Dr. Pirmann prepares the tooth and takes an impression of the area. For precise results, the impressions are sent to a dental laboratory to be expertly fabricated. At the second appointment, Dr. Pirmann cements the crown or bridge and may make minor adjusts as needed. A crown will repair an existing tooth, while a bridge replaces missing teeth.

Root Canal (Endodontic)Therapy – Every tooth contains pulp, a material which provides the tooth with a healthy blood supply and nerves. If the pulp is infected or damaged, it becomes necrotic. If the necrotic pulp is not removed, the tooth will likely become infected, swollen and painful. Dr. Pirmann will remove the pulp, thoroughly clean each canal and seal them to prevent future complications. In most cases, a crown is placed over the restored tooth to provide strength and eliminate tooth discoloration.

Complete and Partial Dentures – Complete dentures are recommended for those who have already lost all of their natural teeth or need to have their remaining teeth extracted.
Partial dentures are used to replace multiple missing teeth in patients who still have some healthy, natural teeth. Both enhance the efficiency of chewing, speaking and helps preserve facial structure and fullness.
